A Golfing Gem

Tea Tree Golf Club, located in Brighton, Tasmania, is a charming 9-hole course that offers a friendly and affordable golfing experience year-round. This private course, which opens its doors to the public on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, features a par of 69 and presents a unique blend of challenges and scenic beauty.

The course is characterized by its diverse terrain, including one prominent hill and a picturesque creek that meanders through the middle, adding both beauty and challenge to your game. Lightly wooded areas frame the course, creating a natural and serene environment for golfers.

Tea Tree's layout makes excellent use of its natural features. The creek serves as a strategic hazard, with some holes requiring shots over the water and others running parallel to it, testing players' accuracy and course management skills. The fescue grass on both fairways and greens provides a consistent playing surface throughout the course.

While not exceptionally long, Tea Tree Golf Club offers a good test of golf, particularly with its small greens that demand precision in approach shots. The course boasts two notably challenging holes: the 6th, a tough par 4 with the creek running enticingly along the left side, ready to swallow errant shots; and the 10th, a demanding 200-meter par 3 that's considered the toughest hole on the course.

After your round, you can relax and socialize at the clubhouse, which features a welcoming bar for members. While the club doesn't offer extensive practice facilities, its focus on the core golfing experience and friendly atmosphere makes it a favorite among local golfers.

Tea Tree Golf Club prides itself on being very friendly and affordable, making it an excellent choice for golfers of all skill levels looking for an enjoyable and accessible golfing experience in Tasmania.
